Funding application

We appear to be in a good position with regard to the REDI grant application - the project meets the core mission of the granting agency and very importantly, showed a greater than 50% participation from the community.

NEXT STEPS:

  1. Grant application for $992,000 was submitted on January 29, 2023

  2. St John's River Water Management will review

  3. Grant selections will be approved April 11th

  4. Grant agreement negotiated and approved May - October

  5. Negotiate Plumber's scope, May - October

  6. Obtain Property Access Agreements, May - October ****

  7. Commence tank abandonment no sooner than October

**** Teresa Irby-Butler has asked the community to be aware that property owners be aware that they will be asked to sign a form allowing plumbers onto their property to conduct the necessary survey for the tie-in work.
